What is the purpose and content of this role?

In Fortumo, we are successful only if our clients are successful. That’s where the Connectivity Operations Specialist comes in. You'll be given a chance to expand and maintain our mobile operator integrations portfolio consisting of 120 billing partners and mobile operators across 95 countries.

Our most important focus in the Connectivity team is implementing changes and managing projects in tight cooperation with other teams inside and outside of Fortumo. As a Connectivity Operations Specialist, you will be solving ongoing issues and incidents together with our connectivity partners and ensuring we maintain good relations with them. You will also be involved in monitoring activities to ensure we spot problems quickly and keep our payment processing healthy. Everyone at Fortumo has a strong sense of commitment and ownership. Skills and requirements we expect from you:

  • have a degree in IT, Economics, or similar
  • have great analytical skills and attention to detail
  • be excellent in B2B communication and negotiation skills
  • have experience working with technical documentation and requirements
  • be a master with numbers and using spreadsheet software
  • have previous experience with databases and back-office systems
  • can handle stress and high workloads with poise and ease
  • take the initiative and enjoy working independently without close supervision
  • be fluent in written and verbal English language
