What is the purpose and content of this role?


As a Head of Finance, you’ll manage the Fortumo finance team and be responsible for its overall results and activities. You will handle budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital management, coordinating the finance team's work, and supporting other teams in finance-related questions. As Fortumo is part of Boku Group, you will also work closely with Boku Group finance team. To be successful in this role, you will be able to work to strict deadlines and enjoy contributing to a fun yet professional working environment. 
 

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter the most in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in the finance sector or as a Head of Finance
  • Experience in managing people and a team
  • Previous experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good team player with a focus on operational efficiency
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • A quick learner and love to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

It will be a plus if you have previous experience with:

  • International business technicalities around taxation, transfer pricing, and other aspects
  • Foreign subsidiaries and consolidation procedures
  • Managing currency exchange risk across multiple currencies
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system
