What is the purpose and content of this role?

Your career at Fortumo will start as a Business Development Manager. In this role, your main goal is to sell Fortumo services to new high-profile global merchants, to support their user and revenue growth. You will manage the whole sales cycle (mostly outbound) from prospecting, reach-out, and lead validation to the sales pitch, proposal, and closing + actually launching merchants on our platform. To make things even more interesting you are usually also responsible for market segment analyse prior to prospecting. 

Your success will be measured based on the revenue your customers are able to generate. 

 

Skills and requirements, we expect from you to:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in international B2B sales roles in the payments or software industry
  • Solid track record of accomplished sales results and targets that you are proud of
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, other languages are a bonus
  • Great analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Take the initiative proactively, work independently and efficiently without close supervision
  • A quick learner and enjoy work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • High stress-tolerance and capability of dealing with multiple competing topics at the same time 
  • Experience in project management and have delivered custom solutions for business partners
